Livestock

Elders is the largest supplier to the live export market, managing the supply of cattle and sheep for markets in Indonesia, North Africa, the Middle East, Mexico, and other Asian markets. Our clients have access to the live export market, through our strong network of staff and branches and the very best access to international markets with our close alliances with a number of leading exporters. There are live export markets for steers, heifers, bulls, cows and other species of livestock, with flexibility in the livestock specifications.

Our short haul operations are facilitated through the North Australian Cattle Company (NACC) based in Darwin. Linking the demand for feeder and slaughter stock from customers throughout Asia to external clients, predominantly feedlots, and also to our own Indonesian business PT Elders Indonesia (a 100% Elders owned operation) provides our clients with direct access to the Asian market. Our long haul operations are conducted through Universal Live Exports (ULE) and provide, predominantly dairy and breeding stock, access to markets throughout Mexico, China, Russia and Turkey.
